How Embracing Our Imperfection Perfects Us
Fueled by a culture of competitive individualism and catalyzed by social media presentations of a seemingly flawless self, perfectionism has become a significant societal epidemic, contributing to higher levels of anxiety, depression, and social isolation than ever before. Christian perfectionists, whose God commands his followers to be perfect, also often experience feelings of guilt, unworthiness, and despair. This book provides a much-needed antidote to this epidemic in the form of a properly Christian language of perfection that can be learned and practiced in our individual relationship with Christ, our marriages, our parenting, and our churches.
